Those in the know are aware that Tim Holtz is the number one dude for paper crafts. For those not in the know Tim Holtz is the number one dude in paper crafts. He deals in an assortment of differnet inking techniques. These different techniques are used on cardmaking, altered art, home decor and of course SCRAPBOOKING.
Although I am familiar with the name I have never really used his products nor techniques. I would spend time when I was supposed to be working just staring at this products wondering what would I do with it. Many customers swear by his inks and techniques whist I just stood on the side lines but no more, Let us jump into the pool.
The easiest way to do this is timholtz.com. I am a fan of this website mosly because they tell you exactly where you are going. Click directly on demos and off you go!! My early favorite is the airbrush technique using the Alchohol ink and a can of air.
Airsplatter
He also demos a great ink resist tecniques using his distressed ink and paint dabbers. Dabber Resist
The full list is found on under the demos link I put above.
Another great resource is the of course, youtube. He has a youtube channel under his name. THere he has more projects, product previews and vlog updates. I have already mentioned this series earlier but Twopeasinabucket.com also has a series named "Thinking inking" that can be found on youtube. There they aslo explain the great joys of Tim Holtz. You can slo just search Tim holtz on google and youtube and you find some pretty interesting ideas. If you are so inclined he halso has a twitter handle @timholtz.
